With degrees in Marketing Management and Interior Design from the De La Salle University and the Philippine School of Interior Design, respectively, Carol Chua finds inspiration from everything. “The things and experiences I encounter everyday and during my travels inspire my designs”, she explains. Carol has done different residential projects as well as a number of institutional and commercial establishments for the design firm JP Lake and Associates, for which she is a partner. She is drawn to the simplicity and charm of the Asian Contemporary Style.

“I believe that practicality and function should not be sacrificed in lieu of a good design”, Carol states. For those who are planning to build or renovate their homes, Carol says it is important to invest in quality, especially on the essentials. “It will save you more money in the long run because you won’t have to replace them right away!”

Carol is a partner at JP Lake and Associates.
