These ghosts bring in all sorts for negative energy and misfortunes for businesses, health, and relationships. This 2017, ghost month runs from August 22-September 19. Keep the hungry ghosts away with these tips.

You can also burn incense and paper money (not real money, this is available in Feng Shui stores) as an offering to them, this can be done once during the entire ghost month.

WHEN OUT OF YOUR HOME

Wear some form of red (bag, scarf, etc.) and bring a round a pinch of salt with you in your bag. It is believed that the hungry ghosts are scared of red and salt. You can also try this at home through accessorizing with red pillow cases and putting a bowl of salt in dead spots of your house.
