Lizza Juarez has three design undergraduate degrees under her belt-visual communications, painting and interior design. Although she has an extensive background in the arts, her design sense still values function over aesthetics in order to maximize spaces while satisfying the needs of users.

She primarily specializes in residential interiors and small spaces, and dreams of doing a residential project abroad. “Design, with its limitless facets, will go towards the direction of creating small yet highly functional spaces. Contemporary, streamlined designs will also linger with the addition of inspirations from old and new Asia”, she explains. Her top advice for those who will be building and renovating their homes is to seek professional assistance. “Designing homes takes more than how and what the interiors should look like. It is important that residential environments are planned, studied and designed to enhance the life and well-being of their users”, she finishes.
