You Can Rent Out This Dreamy Beach House in Batangas!
Meet The Windward House located in Tali, Batangas. This 1,450-square meter beach house uses raw materials like palacino wood, and exposed, sealed, and polished concrete to create a warm and industrial aesthetic.
The beach house was designed by Architects Deo Alam and Kim Jimenez with Stephanie Sy as the Interior Designer. The house bathes in natural light and fresh air circulates within through the wise positioning of the windows and the ingenious use of wooden slats. It is filled with locally produced furniture to complete the beach house look.
The beach house was initially the family’s vacation house. It is now open for renters and can accommodate a group of eight to ten. Every spot of the beach house is definitely Instagram-worthy.
The outdoor dining area is a visual feast of thin lines created by the wooden slats. Aside from the trees, the slats cast shadows to protect you from the rays of the sun while still giving you a view. The slats also create an illusion of privacy for the house.
The angular roof design connects the two houses in the properties, one for the family and the other for when they have guests over. “We raised the roof design to visually connect the main house and the casitas, while also providing an outdoor hallway for easy access between the three structures,” explains the interior designer.
Imagine lounging in the lanai with the surrounding trees moving gently to the breeze and the sun’s rays casting shadows against the outdoor teak furniture. The pool’s crystal clear water invites you in for a dip. The beach house is perfectly enveloped by lush greens, a contrast to the concrete walls of the house but a match to the wood elements.
