Designed by Kaye Llano and Maybelle P. Uy, this 80-something square meter condo was made for a Tom Ford fanatic. Hence, the design is made classy and elegant. A condo dweller who loves guests over, the designers gave him a lot of entertaining spaces, from the living to the dining room. The whole design is anchored on the coolness of marble and metal, contrasted by the warmth of wood and mixed fabrics.
The black marble framing the TV area is a main feature in the living room. A geometric lamp and carpet give the space personality, while the butterfly chair serves as a great accent to the space. The designers added a punch of color to the space with the blue couch.
A glimpse of the bedroom can be seen through the bronze-framed glass sliding door/wall. The condo boasts of a fully funtioning kitchen for the condo dweller who loves cooking for his guests. A breakfast bar is added in the kitchen island counter which resonates with the black marble framing of the TV.
Adding warmth through the herringbone patterned floor, the dining room’s cold, white palette is balanced out. To extend the small space, the designers added a full length mirror.
Since the wall between the living area and the bedroom is glass, the navy blue walls in the bedroom play a huge part in the unit as an anchoring accent wall in both rooms. To give it a traditional feel consistent with the rest of the condo, wall moldings were added in the bedroom. The same woodem herringbone pattern in the dining room was added for a warmth and coherence.
